Acknowledgment of Treaty Lands We acknowledge that Burton Avenue United Church meets near water and on land that is part of Lake Simcoe-Nottawasaga Treaty #18, of 1818. This treaty is part of the church’s relationship with the Indigenous Peoples of this land. We acknowledge that both Indigenous Peoples and all Canadians are treaty people.
